OUR SERVICES

Delivering original, innovative and exciting solutions for our
clients nationwide

The understanding between engineer and architect is essential if the required new boundaries of modern building design are to be achieved whilst delivering beautiful architecture. Our partnership with SVM, which extends beyond 10 years, is a living example of how close, cross-discipline collaboration creates the results that allow innovative design to be realised.

The relationship between SPPARC and SVM is anchored by the clear and professional advice their team is able to provide from the outset of a project whilst their approachability and can-do attitude makes SVM a rare consultancy and a pleasure to work with.

Trevor D. Morriss, Principal at SPPARC ARCHITECTURE

1/4

We initially appointed SVM to undertake the energy strategy and building services designs for our Edgbaston development. Over the 3-year period of our working relationship we have found them to be a knowledgeable team who have added real value to our fast-moving development and expansion programme. SVM are now responsible for the M&E designs for 11 of our current 13 live development sites.

The team at SVM work hard to keep our other retained consultants (including one other M&E consultant) informed of opportunities to improve our product. During regular meetings their team provide us with guidance and advice on performance enhancing and energy saving techniques, often supported by explanatory models and calculations enabling us to make informed decisions and refinements.

These days, higher education is a competitive market. In Crome Court, we have a visually stunning, environmentally advanced and efficient student residence that perfectly complements our academic reputation. We’ve worked with SVM BSD on a number of projects and here, yet again, they delivered to the highest standards.

Adam Simpson – Head of Engineering & Infrastructure, The University of East Anglia

3/4

We work with SVM BSD not only for the skills and experience they bring to the job, but also for their enthusiasm and customer service. It’s always been a delight to work with them.
